There are two main ways to get involved with Outdoor SIG on the internet, our
interactive Yahoo Clubs page and the mailing list.
1/ has message boards, where you can leave notes for other members,
2/ an interactive calendar where you can check for the latest events
happening in your area and leave details of your own events,
3/ a photos board where you can view or leave pictures of you outdoor
adventures….make slide shows and much more.

page you will have to sign-in with a Yahoo ID……It's an
easy process, and only takes a few minutes.
The OSIG EMAIL DISCUSSION LIST:
OSIG also operates an active mailing list for members to share
information, and discuss what they've been doing in the Japanese
Outdoors. This list is for members only IF YOU ARE IN OSIG AND AREN'T
ON THE LIST, (or want to sign up on a different email address) send
an email to: outdoorsig-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
We'll check your name against the membership list, and if you're
on there we'll sign you up.
Once you're on the list, you can send a message to everyone else
by writing to outdoorsig@yahoogroups.com.
Only members can send messages to the list, so you don't need to
worry about getting junk mail. The amount of traffic on list varies,
depending on what people have been doing, and what they're talking
about, but typically there's 1-5 messages a day. There is also the option of getting one mail that includes the contents of every mail sent that day.
If at any time you want to take your name off the list, just send
a mail to outdoorsig-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com,
from the email account that you're signed up with. You can always
rejoin later if you change your mind!
Of course the MOST active way to interact within OSIG is to actually
get outdoors……contact your ken rep (see the 'Contact
Us' section) or better yet strap on the boots…..and become
a ken rep yourself / help out on the national crew (see the 'About
Us' section).
